PURPOSE | WHY WE EXIST
We want to see the young generation step up and step into the things God has for them. It is our vision, desire, and passion to see our youth no longer being influence but to be the influencers. It is our vision that this generation will step up and step into the things God has for them and be world changers!
VISION | OUR MAIN GOAL
Shift is more than a ministry. “We are more than a ministry, we are movement.
Allowing God to shift our mindsets, attitudes, and lives so we can cultivate a shift movement in our culture and world back to JESUS!
MISSION | WHAT WE WILL DO TO ACCOMPLISH IT
It is through our personal worship, teachings, and conduct that help us build relationships with our students so they can build relationships with God. The 4 R’s
Reach - We will reach the youth generation. We will seek the lost and hurting. We will do this through having a presence on school campuses, hosting events, and looking for opportunities to build relationships with all youth in the city.
Relationship- We will be Intentional with building authentic relationship with our students that will speak truth, love, and life into their lives. Our relationship with them will hopefully have them seek a relationship with Jesus. We will be involved in the life of our students outside of church or youth functions. We will be present and support them in the their lives and the things they are passionate about.
Root- We will be Intentional with discipling them in the Word of God. Teaching them how to read, study, and apply God’s word in their lives. We want to build a firm foundation in God’s word that create a thirst and hunger to know Him more. We will accomplish this through Wednesday Night services, Sunday mornings, Student Leadership, and also teaching and mentoring in daly life.
Release- Lastly, we want to release our youth to go and be the influencers and world changers God has called them to be. We will create serve opportunities through missions trips, outreaches, and community events that allow our students to leave out their faith.
